D5 Builder – Visual WordPress Theme & Page Builder
Create modern, responsive, and highly customized WordPress websites without being limited by traditional theme layouts. D5 Builder combines a visual website builder with a flexible WordPress theme framework, giving you greater control over pages, headers, footers, templates, layouts, and global design settings.
Built for designers, agencies, freelancers, businesses, and developers, it provides a modern workflow for creating professional websites while reducing the need for custom coding. The latest generation introduces modern layout technologies such as Flexbox and CSS Grid, nested modules, reusable design presets, global variables, customizable breakpoints, and dynamic content tools.
Key Features
Visual Drag-and-Drop Builder
Design pages visually and see your changes as you build. Edit sections, layouts, text, images, buttons, and other elements directly from the visual interface.
Modern Flexbox & CSS Grid Layouts
Build more flexible and responsive layouts using modern CSS layout systems. Create sophisticated designs without relying heavily on custom CSS or complicated workarounds.
Advanced Responsive Design
Create layouts that look professional across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Customizable breakpoints give you greater control over how your website responds to different screen sizes.
Theme Builder
Create custom headers, footers, page templates, post layouts, category templates, and other site-wide designs without editing theme files manually.
Global Design Variables
Define reusable colors, fonts, spacing, images, and other design values. Change a global variable once and apply the update throughout your website for faster and more consistent design management.
Reusable Presets
Save commonly used styling configurations as presets and apply them to multiple elements. This is especially useful for maintaining consistent buttons, headings, sections, and other components across large websites.
Nested Modules
Build more complex page structures by placing modules inside other modules. This gives you greater freedom when designing advanced layouts and interactive sections.
Dynamic Content & Loop Builder
Create reusable layouts for posts, products, categories, authors, events, courses, and other database-driven content. Design the layout once and reuse it across dynamic content.
Performance-Focused Architecture
The latest builder is designed around a modern framework intended to improve builder responsiveness and frontend performance through optimized asset loading and leaner output.
Design Tools & Creative Modules
Add professional visual elements such as sliders, carousels, animations, Lottie content, icons, buttons, galleries, and other customizable modules to create engaging pages.
Premade Layouts
Start from professionally designed layouts instead of building every page from scratch. Customize the structure, typography, colors, images, and content to match your project.
Solve Common WordPress Design Problems
Tired of rebuilding the same layouts? Use global presets and design variables.
Need different headers or footers for different sections? Use the Theme Builder and assign custom templates.
Struggling with responsive layouts? Use Flexbox, Grid, and customizable breakpoints.
Want to build dynamic pages without manually editing every post? Use the Loop Builder and dynamic content tools.
Need to maintain consistent branding? Define global colors, fonts, and design variables instead of changing individual elements repeatedly.
How to Install
- Download the D5 Builder theme ZIP package.
- Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to Appearance → Themes → Add New.
- Click Upload Theme.
- Select the theme ZIP file and click Install Now.
- Activate the theme.
- Open the builder/dashboard and configure your global settings.
- Create a new page and launch the visual builder to start designing.
The standard WordPress installation process is to upload the theme ZIP through Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme, install it, and activate it.
Important: If you’re moving an existing website from an older version, create a complete backup and preferably test the upgrade on a staging website first. The official documentation specifically recommends testing before making changes to a live site.
How to Use
After activation, start by configuring your site’s basic design system:
Global Design → Header & Footer → Typography → Colors → Responsive Settings → Page Templates → Individual Pages
For a new website, you can start with a premade layout or build a page from scratch. Open a page in the visual builder, add your desired modules, customize the design, and save reusable sections or presets for future pages.
For larger websites, set up global variables and presets first. This makes future design changes much faster and helps maintain a consistent visual identity throughout the site.
